October 29-30th marked 4elements' first landart workshop on Manitoulin Island, facilitated by Rachel Ellaway, from Sudbury, Ontario, formerly from the UK. Eight enthusiastic participants gathered at Rue Studio (www.ruestudio.ca) in Sheguiandah for a delicious potluck, slideshow and discussion on Thursday evening, and braved a day of dynamic rainy windy weather on Friday, working at two sites: one on Lake Manitou and the second at Rue Studio in Sheguiandah.
